Philae Temple - Pharaoh's Bed

Built when Egypt was a Roman province, this small addition to the buildings on Philae is very prominent as the visitor approaches the Island.

As well as being known as "Pharaoh's Bed" this building is also known as "Trajan's Kiosk" after the Emperor Trajan who reigned when it was built.
